WHAT WE NEED
We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Designer to join our South Brisbane office to work on a variety of projects across South East Queensland. We are seeking a Designer who is interested in land development and has the ability to liaise with our multi-disciplinary team, local authorities and other external consultants in relation to project designs. You are driven to deliver high quality work, on time, embrace emerging technologies and build client relationships. You continually are looking at ways to grow and expand your skillset.
In this role you will report to the Civil Design Manager and be responsible for:
- Technical and quality delivery on a variety of urban development projects
- Concept and detailed engineering designs utilising 12d and AutoCAD software
- Successfully managing your workload and deadlines
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary design team on each project
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2-year advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years post graduate experience
- Competency in 12d and AutoCAD
- Design experience in earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, sewer drainage and water reticulation are preferred but not critical
- Have the ability to work within legislation and codes, applying established practices and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills
