JFP’s Planners worked as part of an overall project team, coordinating all aspects of the Development Assessment process for the Portal Hotel. The Development Assessment process was completed in a timely manner with a number of built form issues resolved through negotiations and discussions with Council.

The precise and considered approach for the development application utilised by JFP was particularly important due to the relatively small, confined nature of the site and the number of physical and planning constraints present.

The Client’s choice of ‘high quality’ planners (JFP) and architects (Cottee Parker) secured the best possible outcome from the site and allowed the project to flow smoothly without placing a burden on the Client’s own resources.
